::Went to a church service in this building while visiting South Georgia. The sermon was simply - listen.... The place was so quiet - no traffic noise in the background, no air conditioners, no leaves in the trees rustling, nothing. The silence was so quiet it was almost deafening -you started to hear the blood flowing in your ears it was so silent. This is the only place in the world I have experienced total silence. Mind you it was also cold!...
